Tour description:
Meeting point is at 10.00 am at the mountain station of the Wildkogelbahn in Neukirchen. After a short descent and ascent with the Frühmesser chairlift, we go to the actual starting point of the ski tour. The tour to the summit of the Frühmesser (2,127 m) starts at the mountain station of the Frühmesser chairlift.
After an enjoyable descent over the hilly western slopes of the Frühmesser, you will reach the valley floor of the Dürnbachtal and begin the ascent to the Steinkogel (2,299 m) in an untouched winter landscape. After about 2.5 hours we reach the summit, where magnificent panorama awaits us. Enjoyable descent towards Steineralm and further to Gasthof Rechtegg. Return to Neukirchen by ski bus or cab (extra cost).
