Tour description:
The varied hiking stages in the Silvretta lead past rugged rock formations, mountain meadows, glaciers and the highest peaks in Vorarlberg. For the physical well-being after each day’s stage is well taken care of in the huts for the hiker. Imposing hut hike past glaciers and pristine landscape. The starting point for this hut hike is the Bieler Höhe, which can be easily reached via the scenic Silvretta High Alpine Road. An impressive hiking tour for every mountain lover at their own pace unaccompanied and individually in harmony with nature.
day 1
Arrival in Galtür (optional 1 night). The starting point for the hut tour in the Silvretta is the Bieler Höhe (2,032 m), which can be reached via the Silvretta High Alpine Road. From the Bieler Höhe the ascent to the Saarbrückener Hütte (2,538 m) takes about 3½ hours to reach the first stage destination. Overnight stay at the Saarbrückener Hütte incl. Half board.
day 2
The next morning, strengthened after breakfast, the hike leads over the Litzner Sattel, Verhupftäli, Klosertal over the Silvrettasee, through the Ochsental to the Wiesbadener hut at 2,443 m (duration of the tour approx. 6 hours). Overnight stay incl. Half board at the Wiesbadener hut.
Day 3
Option 1
After breakfast departure for a glacier hike to the Vermut glacier in the direction of Switzerland with a mountain guide. An impressive day tour with a variety of impressions of the Silvretta, rugged glaciers and beautiful glacial lakes. Including equipment (crampons, harness, carabiner). Return to the Wiesbadener Hütte, duration approx. 6 hours. Overnight stay with half board at the Wiesbadener hut.
Option 2
Alpine high-altitude tour on the Piz Buin (3,312 m) the highest point in Vorarlberg with a mountain guide. Demanding alpine tour with a glacier crossing in a rope team (day tour physically challenging), including equipment (crampons, harness, carabiners). Duration approx. 8 hours. Return to Wiesbadener Hut with overnight stay and half board.
Day 4
Another stage on this day hike from the Wiesbadener Hütte to the Jamtalhütte (2,157 m), duration approx. 5 hours. Overnight stay at the Jamtalhütte incl. Half board.
Day 5
In the morning the hike goes to the Heidelberger hut (2,264 m), duration approx. 5 hours, overnight stay at the Heidelberger hut incl. Half board.
Day 6
After breakfast, freshly strengthened, the descent from the Heidelberger Hut approx. With return to the Bieler Höhe (parking lot). A great tour with many impressions comes to an end.
