Description
Depending on the weather and snow conditions, you will climb on the first day (if possible with the help of the valley taxi) to the Johannishütte and on to the Defregger Haus at 2,962 m. The next day ascent to the summit of the Großvenediger 3,660 m, in a safe rope team of a small group with a mountain guide. After a rest at the summit, you return to the hut. Overnight stay and half board in the Defregger Haus. The following day, after a hearty breakfast, the group descends back into the valley.
Duration: 3 days / 2 nights (from May, if the valley road is cleared, 2 or 1.5 days / 1 night are also possible)
